Burnout hit me properly at the beginning of the week so I've been stuck in bed for most of the week and obsessing over the weight of life's problems. Like you should when you don't have the energy for anything else.
Drew this... two weeks ago tho? I can't remember. The important thing is I had it, and now I'm gonna share it.
If Batman didn't have a tragic backstory and ended up working in a circus, maybe this guy would be it.

Normally I do not forget to post on my blog on a Saturday night.
Normally.
Obviously today was a little different. So instead of posting on Saturday night, I shall post this on Sunday morning. Which could still count as Saturday night because it's only 1am, but I digress.
I pride myself on always keeping the routine, but sometimes the routine fails me.
I have only myself and my hyper fixation on trivial google facts to blame.
Obviously I'm blaming the trivial google facts more.
Did you know the accordion was invented in 1822? You bet I'm going to make a vampire play that instrument instead of a pipe organ.
This night shall not be wasted, nor the trivial facts I have learned.
*stares at the MLP FIM show that I haven't watched or been a part of the fandom since 2018*
Why am I being haunted by pastel ponies with destiny tattoos again?
Why am I plagued with ideas for alternative universes for a show which I can't even remember the lore or characters for?
WHY am I making CONCEPT art for a show I haven't watched (or finished watching) since I was 16, with characters I can barely remember except the basic details, for a world with lore that needs a few books to hold, when I swear I was obsessed with vampires not even 24 hours before???
WHY-
I mean, it is very nice concept art. But the type of concept art that's overkill and polished. Which is exactly what I need to draw when I'm burnout so I'll take it XD
I'm still confused, but then again, I'm really not. I got emotionally invested in Hamtaro and Ninjago again even after I thought I'd never get back into those shows ever again. I'll just add My Little Pony to the list.
........ or I will if this obsession lasts longer than a few weeks. This is still pretty fresh- it could die at any time, so we'll wait and see.
Well, starting to settle into the new house, and I think staying in my new bedroom 90% of the time has been helping me make a (semi) stable safe zone in this weird new environment. But I'm still tired, so I'll make this quick and preserve what little energy I've got for the rest of my night.

I'm still thinking about these guys sometimes. Working on the world building and character arcs one step at a time, but it's been nice to think about during the whole *hand wave* everything.
