The Miracle Kid and the Insane Radish

Hello! Did you guys all have a nice week? Mine was good. A fair bit a drawing. A bit of sewing. Lots of Pokemon! Getting hyped for Sword&Shield and stuff. And avoiding spoilers like the plague (for once in my life).

These guys are Diana and Moonless, two of my Pokemon from the SoulSilver Nuzlocke challenge I'm doing at the moment.

Although Diana is the baby of the group, she can easily hold her own ground (supposing the enemy isn't resistant or immune to psychic type moves) and as a result she's a nice backup for the newer weak Pokemon I catch.
Moonless is kinda on the back-burner in terms of training (seeing as I won't be needing her for a little bit, but want to keep her updated with the rest of the group - just in case something happens) and I imagine whenever take her outside Diana just keeps a close eye on her. Makes sure there's nothing she can't handle, maybe whisking her away from a dangerous situation.. Stuff like that.

They don't talk much, but I think they have a bit of a fascination with each other.

*******

I've gotten attached to all my team members and it's not even been 3 weeks yet... it's kinda ridiculous, actually. I'd hate to lose even one of them at this point... Especially Patric and Margaret. And Alex. And Diamond. And of course Diana and Moonless. <3

So far no one has died yet, but I'm only 3 gyms in and I'm betting it wont be long until I have to bury one of my lil' monsters... Hm.

Toad Girls

Hey. Got some fan art to show you this week. Nice and simple, but kinda cute.

Just one of those random moods that comes just as quickly as it leaves... Fun while it lasted, though.
I love drawing toads.

Quincy & Jeffry, Vampire Hunters Extraordinaire!

Thought I might as well post this, to commemorate the more or less the beginning of this new project of mine. Even if I drew this about a week ago, but whatever...

SO. These fine lads are two of the main characters to this Dracula Sequel we've concocted. Quincy Harker (brave looking dude on the right) and Jeffry Morris (timid red-head to the left). Both of them are medical students at St. Barts Hospital in London.

Quincy J. A. Harker is the son of Jonathan and Mina Harker, two of the survivors from Dracula's shenanigans. Raised with the knowledge that Vampires and other fun things actually exist, he's the only non-vamp (besides Van Helsing) that notices when something seriously fishy is going on.. and then blames it on Vampires. Correctly.
He's about as dense as a brick wall (same as his father), but thankfully he got a little of his mother's brains. With any luck, he might use it during the book...

Meanwhile, from what I've decided for poor young Jeffrey, he comes from a struggling upper-class Irish family who have a tendency to end up becoming doctors. He's a hypochondriac, a bit of a clean freak, sensitive to anything harder than a slight tap on the forehead, and our resident damsel in distressed. Gets bit by like, three different Vampires. Maybe four, I haven't decided yet...

The story itself is set in 1919, one year after world war 1 (although that could change, this is only week 2 of working on this after all). Stuff is bad, but Quincy is optimistic at finally being let go to do medicine. He meets some people, finds out that there have been some weird things happening in the dorms and church grounds, and concludes that VAMPIRES must be the cause. He has a stake out and almost kills one of his teachers.
They did get the Vampire they were after, though, so no need to worry on that front!

 *********

I dunno how serious this project is going to be (compared to UV, OverKill, various stuff for my sister...), but I'm having fun with it!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'mma go and get something to eat now. You guys have a good night! :)

Sino & Webs

Hello! Just a little simple one today, I'm afraid. Researching stuff for Dracula has taken most of my energy this week, what with figuring out dates and Vampic lore and other stuff. It's been fun, but I needed to give myself another freebie.

Two of my old spider characters, Sino the blind spider and her guardian Webs!

Maybe I should re-draw all my old spider dudes just for the heck of it. Including Fang, I'd say it would amount to just about 8 spiders - Fang, Webs, Contrary and her brother (which his name escapes me at the moment), Sino, Bumble, Raven, and the one old druid dude which I also forget his name... (although I think I named him after a tree of some sort)

Could be something fun to do while I work on this Dracula sequel thing for a bit... Nice and simple, fun, and doesn't require much creative juice!
Well, we'll see what my attention span decides to do. But it's nice to have a plan. :)

Pepper

Hello, guys! It's August now! Nice. Just a few more weeks until September. And then October. And November.
...

Also, I've decided to write a sequel to Dracula.
Was this well a thought out decision? Nope. Will this end up becoming a fun over glorified fanfic about stupid kids in a world where Vampires exist? You bet. Am I likely to do anything with it if I even finish it? Probably not.
I just really like Vampires and have a burning desire to see what happens to Quincy Harker once he's all grown up and stuff.

So if I decide to shift my focus on writing instead of drawing for a bit, you'll at least be prepared for it.. now that you know what I'm thinking...

*It's been ages since I've last written anything down.. MMM okay yeah no I can still do this! Course I can. BRING IT ON BRAIN I dare you to try and interfere with my plans!*
