Winter Mage

Hallo! You know what time it is? That's right - PICTURE TIME!~

I don't like drawing humans. I prefer animals, but not birds. I'm even more bad at birds than humans.

But I like the background on this. It's pretty. (Could've done a better job on the snow, but I'm still learning - I don't mind (much))

Bk2 Ch.9 Rewards -part2

The whole village seemed destroyed from Ruby's point of view. All the stands in the night market were burned, the nearby streets were wrecked, and everything else was a mess.
Ruby: Wow. It only took a few days for everything to be ruined...

Ruby and Barak headed towards the steep hill where the Vampire Lord's mansion was. They got there soon enough, and called out to see if anyone was there.

Ruby: HELLO?

A faint echo sounded, but no one answered.

Ruby: ... Ok. Totally normal. Barak, go inside and investigate.

Barak: But... what if there's something in there?

Ruby: You're the Dragon's Champion... You can shoot light beams at your enemies, sending them flying off towards high mountains, you can see through your foes eyes and watch their every move, not to mention your an amazing flier... I think you'll be fine. Plus, If there are no traps at the front door, I'll be with you. I'm not heartless, Barak! Your a kid - there's only so many dangers you can handle alone!

Barak: ... Alright.

Barak flew into a nearby broken window, and got inside. After a minute, the front gates opened, letting Ruby in with him.

The halls on the mansion seemed unharmed, which surprised Ruby.

Ruby: This place is so protected that the UnMythics haven't even touched it!

Ruby started wandering around the halls, but didn't find anything until she went into the big private library. A lot of apprentice scribes were camping out in the open, reading and talking. They all got up in alarm as Ruby entered with Barak. One of them even grabbed a nearby dagger.

Ruby: Woah! Hold your horses! I'm one of you guys!

Kay (pink wolf): Oh, phew! We thought an UnMythic had somehow managed to find out we're still here... What the news from the outside world?

Ruby: We won! The UnMythic army is evacuating as we speak.

Donald (white deer): Seriously? Your not kidding? And Zoe was prepared for the war to last for years!

Ruby: Yup. Me and Barak just came in to see if there was anyone here - where are all the villagers anyway?

Henry (brown wolf): In the forest. Us more important Vampires-

Kay: HENRY...

Henry: -... I mean, us scribes and guards stayed up in the mansion for safety. It has served us pretty well...

Ruby: So, where are the guards?

Zoe (blue eagle): They patrol a lot of the mansion, making sure we're all safe. The Vampire Lord comes and goes, we're not sure where, and we don't dare ask. He's our leader and all - I'm sure he has his reasons.

Ruby: Well... Please tell anyone you meet about the news, now if you'll excuse us, we have to find the Vampire Lord. (even though I'm pretty sure he got our message)

Ruby and Barak left the library and hurried down the empty halls. They came across a few guards paroling the place, and told them the news.

After a few more minutes of exploring, they reached the meeting room of the Vampire Lord's. A crash of lightning sounded, and the rain started to fall hard.

Ruby: He doesn't appear to be here.

Barak: Should we wait for him, or go look for him?

Ruby: ... Better luck if we wait here. Besides, Echo can't have been that slow...

They didn't have to wait for very long, because in a flash of lightning and a crash of thunder, the Vampire Lord appeared over them, not surprising Ruby that much.

Vampire Lord: Ah, you have returned from your mission. I am pleased to see you have returned safely.

Ruby: Yes. The UnMythics are no longer a threat to our race!

Vampire Lord: While that may be true, that doesn't mean all of them are going to leave.

Barak: How come, sir?

Vampire Lord: From what I can gather, not all UnMythics are bad... some have even proved helpful.

Ruby: Like Sapphire, I guess...

Vampire Lord: Indeed. I had doubts in her, but she was determined to help her enemy, and sooner or later became one of us in some words.

Barak: Are you suggesting Sapphire is a bit fishy?

Vampire Lord: Yes, Champion of Dragons. That's exactly what I'm saying.

Ruby: A bit fishy... so is she, or isn't she a Mythic?

Vampire Lord: She's a Mythic, but there's something different from Vampire in her. But we'll talk about that later... About your reward.

Ruby stood there, a little confused.

Ruby: Reward?

Vampire Lord: You and your friends have preformed a great achievement, which was stopping the UnMythics from taking over the island. So, you may ask anything as long as it's in my power.

Ruby thought hard for a minute before replying.

Ruby: ... Can I think about this for a few days with my friends? If that's ok with you, of course...

Vampire Lord: Of course. I'll be waiting, until then...

And with a flash of light, the Vampire Lord disappeared.

Bk2 Ch.9 Rewards -part1

After everyone recovered from shock, Ruby grabbed Fang, and glared at him suspiciously.

Ruby: ... How did you know what a Dragon's bite would do to UnMythic blood?

Fang: Books! You have a lot of them.

Ruby sighed and let go of Fang, who crawled back into Ruby's bag.

Midnight: So... Sapphire is a Mythic.

Barak cautiously walked up to Sapphire, sniffing as he made a full circle around her.

Sapphire: Cool! I'm one of you guys, now. But do you always-

Ruby: Just ignore that. We've survived at least a thousand years without that stuff. Any berry juice is a better substitute, anyway! Besides, the UnMythics should evacuate the island in a matter of hours. Maybe a day.

While the others crowded around Sapphire, Midnight dug into his pocket, and gingerly took out the weird key he stole. He hesitated before giving it to Sunshine.

Sunshine: How did this-

Midnight: I wanted my useless trinket back, so I stole it off you... the fake one. I thought I'd be better if I gave it back before any more crazy things happen. Now please don't kill me...

Sunshine paused, and took the strange object from Midnight. She looked behind at Ruby and Barak, before facing him.

Ruby didn't pay much attention to Midnight or Sunshine, instead she tried to take the Ultimate defense (which was planted firmly in the ground), but failed.

Ruby: Strange... I can't move it.

Barak: It will stay there forever now. It'll prevent any more wars happening if the UnMythics decide to come back!

Ruby: Ok, understandable. We should probably get out of this storm - and send word that we have won the war. Echo, can I have your assistance?

The bat flew around Ruby's head while start wrote out a short note.

Sapphire: Does this mean I have to stay away from cinnamon forever?

Fang: Pretty much. You'll learn to avoid it quickly enough, though!

Sapphire sighed and took out the last cinnamon bomb she had. She threw it as far as she could down the mountain, out of sight and range.

Sapphire: Well, this means I have another reason to move in with Ruby! Isn't that great, Mora?

The hound jumped up and down with excitement, but Barak still looked scared.

Sapphire: Sorry, Barak. I guess you were trying to protect me, huh? So did you see into the future or something?

Barak: Y-yeah... something like that.

Sapphire: I thought you were a bit underage to do that, but since you're special that's probably ok.

Ruby finished writing her note and gave it to Echo, who quickly zoomed off into the direction of home.

Ruby: I wonder if the Ultimate defense has a range limit... I guess we'll soon find out. Ok, everyone. We need to get back home as soon as possible!

Ruby took out the map in her bag and scanned the paper. After a while, she made her choice and pointed back down the path.

Ruby: Just back down this path and through the forest. Let's go.

Midnight and Sunshine waited until everyone had gone a little bit ahead before following. Midnight hissed into Sunshine's ear, carefully.

Midnight: We'll continue to discuss this after all this is over. For now, don't get your neck chopped off.

The white cheetah nodded and carried on ahead.

*****

After hours of non stop walking, they reached EverWinter village at nightfall. Sapphire made straight for Grandma's old house, ignoring the pains in her body.

Sapphire: No UnMythics for miles - I'd say we won!

Ruby: Yes, I don't see anyone, which is strange... I wonder if the Vampire Lord got my message?

Sapphire walked up the steps to Grandma's door, and slowly opened it. No one seemed to be home as she walked around the wrecked house.

Sapphire: This is like the zombie apocalypses, but without the undead.

Midnight: What's that suppose to mean?

Sapphire: It's like a ghost town - no Vampires, everything mostly destroyed... It's just us!

Ruby: They must be up at the Mansion. That's where all the food and defenses are. Two of us should go and have a look, though...

Midnight: Me and Barak will-

Ruby: Sorry, but I can't let you go. You're injured and need rest!

Midnight: I-

Ruby: The war is over.  And that was an order.

Midnight: Says who?

Ruby: Me. Now get inside or I'll drag you in and drop you myself.

Ruby signaled to Barak to follow her as they started to rummage around in the ruins of their town, searching for anything drinkable or edible.

Weird Creatures

If you know me, you know what's coming.

I decided to choose a hero from every group of these strange creatures to form a team, like in every story. As I said I never got far enough to decide their fates, but I gave them personalities and backstories! It's a start.

Well, first up, on the top left, is Winter the Snowwa, a calm and gentle flying rabbit. (Don't worry! Snowwa's are meant to fly. That's why I gave them wings!)

Then on the top right, we have Knight the RazorWing. She's a crazy daredevil who does dangerous stunts for a living.

In the far left corner we have Boomer the Twistface. He's a bit of a joker, so best to stay out of his way.

On the far right corner is Badru, a timid Mousoon prince. He's a real pushover, and is terrified of most things.

And finally, the leader of the team, Yuna the Mewletta. Shes a stuck up brat, but a great singer. It doesn't help that  she has a rare power.

..........

I was bored.
This is the result.

Bk2 Ch.8 Dark Sun Mountain -part3

Out of nowhere, Barak grabbed the staff and flew up into the clouds.

Mr Stonecloud: Curses! The Dragon has the Ultimate Defense! Open fire at the sky!

But before they could obey, Barak dived toward earth at high speed. He landed with a crash, causing the ground to shake like an earthquake, making everyone fall down.

Barak: Quick! Put a moon crystal onto the staff!

Ruby shakily got a moon crystal out of her bag, but Midnight caught her leg before she could get closer to Barak.

Midnight: What about Sapphire?

Ruby: What about her?

Midnight: She's an UnMythic! What will happen if we activate the defense?

Ruby stood frozen, unsure of what would happen.

Sunshine: It's the only way we can survive! Hurry, or they'll stop us and we'll be driven out!

Ruby: B-but... what happens if we do?

Sunshine: Every UnMythic close to the staff when activated will be killed. For those further away, they will be driven to the brink of madness - unable to do anything but run as far as their legs can carry them!

Midnight: So Sapphire will get unalived?!

Ruby: I can't do this! Sapphire is family! I can't-

Sapphire: Forget about me, guys! Just save the Vampires from certain chaos!

Midnight: We're not murderers! We won't do this!

Sapphire: You can, and you will. Just be selfish for once - it's easy! Us Unmythics have acted like jerks towards your people from the very beginning, always wanting more than we really needed. WE DESERVE IT. So listen to Sunshine and DO IT.

Fang: It's true - they do.

When Ruby still didn't move, Sapphire groaned, made a shaky walk over to her, and snatched the crystal from her.

Ruby: Hey! What do you think you're-

Sapphire: If you can't do it, then I'll do it for you. Barak, get your tail over here!

With hesitation, Barak jumped forward to Sapphire.

Ruby: Sapphire, NO!!!

Mr. Stonecloud: Listen, kid. Think about what you're doing for half a second! We can rule this island with an iron fist!

Midnight: Shut up, Rockysky. You have no say in this!

Sapphire sighed, before facing Ruby.

Sapphire: Ruby. I have something to say to you...

Ruby locked eyes with Sapphire, waiting.

Sapphire: ... I hope you win this stupid war. That is all.

Sapphire jammed the moon crystal onto the ultimate defense, and in an instant a huge shock wave pushed all of the UnMythics (except Sapphire) back, throwing them off the mountain.

Ruby rushed up to Sapphire, who was somehow still standing after the violent wave had shot outwards. She looked around, cautiously.

Sapphire: ... Was I supposed to feel something? Am I dead? It doesn't feel any different from being alive.

Ruby: SAPPHIRE! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!

Ruby went up for a hug, but Sapphire stopped her.

Sapphire: Nope! None of that here. But... seriously, I'm not supposed to be here. Can someone explain?

Sunshine: ... No... I really can't.

Fang coughed a bit, and stepped forward.

Fang: If I may be so bold-

Ruby: No, but go on.

Fang: -... Maybe Barak's bite did something to Sapphire's blood?

There was a stunned silence. Sapphire turned to Barak, who was slightly cowering behind Midnight.

Sapphire: Barak, what did you do to my perfect UnMythic genes? Not that I liked them, but I'd like to know what happened.

Barak: W-well... I... I don't know!

Midnight: What do you mean? Aren't you the mostly knowing Dragon Champion?

Ruby: Titles mean nothing, Midnight.

Barak: Fang told me to bite S-Sapphire, so I did! I don't know why!

Ruby: FANG?!

Ruby turned towards the small spider, who seemed to not have noticed his owner's hostility towards him.

Fang: Oh, yeah! Did you know a Dragon's bite has magical effects on UnMythics, turning them into Mythics? Convenient for the plot, eh? (even though you guys wont have a clue on what I'm talking about)

Everyone stared at Sapphire, a bit shocked.

..........

*... I was seriously considering killing off Sapphire from the entire story, so be happy I've spared her life. But don't expect me to be so loving the next time someone's in danger. I am the Author - I have the power of this world's cosmos in my laptop*

A delay in posting

Well, for those that don't know, I post UV chapters on Tuesday and Thursday.

Today is Tuesday - no post.

But there's a reason for it.

I've got some sort of virus, and as a result I'm quite sick (not as sick as yesterday - when it all started - but I could be better) so I haven't had enough time to write the next part of chapter 8.

I hope you understand, and I thank you in advance for waiting patiently.

Mousoon Tribe

SATURDAY NIGHT POST TIME~

I tried to keep it "non pokemon" tonight, and sorta succeeded... I created these tiny creatures about a year or more ago (along with a lot of other weird animals), so I decided to bring them back to life.

Meet the Mousoon (also known as Moon Mice) Tribe!

... I didn't have anything prepared for tonight, so I kinda had to wing it in one afternoon. Yup. Sketch, outline, colour, and shadow/highlights. A bit of a challenge, but I managed to scrape through.

And as always, hope you like it!

Bk2 Ch.8 Dark Sun Mountain -part2

After Ruby patched Midnight up some more, they slowly trudged on along the path, not saying anything. Sapphire sighed, and called out to Ruby after about half an hour of walking.

Sapphire: You guys go on ahead - me and Fang... we need to talk.

Ruby shrugged and carried on with Midnight and Mora. Echo silently flew nearby with Barak, taking in the desolate scenery.

Ruby: ... Midnight? You've been quiet lately. What's on your mind?

Midnight: What? Oh, um... nothing.

Ruby: Did you seriously say "nothing"? Please. If my books have taught me anything, it's that when someone says "nothing", it's always something important. So tell me, before I break your other arm.

Midnight paused for a moment before he hesitatingly answered.

Midnight: I-it's about Sunshine.

Ruby: Oh, so you have a crush on her?

Midnight: What?! Do you think I like that snow cat? Like some sort of love struck dog following its master like a mindless puppet?!

Ruby: Sorry, but that's what usually happens in books.

Midnight: Books are dumb. But no, I'm not.. hang on, I think I'm going to throw up.

Ruby: Ok, ok... But come on, what is it?

Midnight: ... I dunno. I just have this... feeling, to put it shortly. L-like we've met before, in a fuzzy memory dream. You have those, right?

Ruby: Nope, I'm more normal than you. I don't remember having any "fuzzy memory dreams".

Midnight: Ok, then it's dumb. I'm probably imagining it.

Ruby: Whether that's true or not will remain to be seen. But don't loose your mind over it - your lock picking skills might come in use in the future, ok?

Midnight smiled weakly. Suddenly, Sapphire raced up to both of them, and hissed into Ruby's ear. Ruby jolted into action and grabbed Midnight, and started hurrying him up the path. Barak sensed trouble and started flying faster with Echo, while Mora started to run faster.

Midnight: Ok, what's going on?

Sapphire: Soldiers. Must escape.

Fang: Can't you use another of your ka-booms to get rid of them?

Sapphire: I'm down to only one cinnamon bomb left, but I'm saving it for a greater emergency.

Ruby: Sapphire's right. We need to loose them another way...

Barak: Well, I could just-

Ruby: Barak, I know you're capable of taking an entire Ice Giant army, but we need you here. We shouldn't be relying on you for our every problem! If only we didn't get separated from Sunshine...

Barak thought hard for a moment before racing off to somewhere else.

Ruby: I wish he'd stop doing that.

Sapphire: He isn't really needed here. And besides, we're almost at the top!

They came to the end of the path, at the top of the mountain. Ruby started searching through her bag for a moon crystal, while Sapphire prepared to fight.

Ruby: If only Sunshine was here with the staff!

???: Oh, but she is here, Rudy.

Ruby turned around to see Stonecloud, holding a cinnamon bomb. Mora growled, while Echo shrieked.

Ruby: ... Oh yeah. I remember you. You were the worst history teacher in history.

Mr. Stonecloud: Very funny, but the joke's on you! Hand over the moon crystals, or the white cat gets filled with cinnamon!

Midnight: Wow, your spies are dumber then you. How do you even know if  Ruby has any?

Mr. Stonecloud: Shut your mouth, kid. And aren't you the one who caused trouble beating up kids?

Midnight: No, that was the other kid. Rich man, I think his name was.

Mr. Stonecloud signaled to some soldiers, and they pushed Sunshine forward from their ranks, with Leaf behind her.

Sapphire: Leaf!  I knew it - you showed them where we were going!

Leaf: Um, it's been predicted. Apparently, legends say that the "Vampire Heroes" and Dragon were going to be up here after war was declared.

Sapphire: ... When Dragon boy gets back, I want to ask him why his kind love to spill the future to everyone.

Midnight: Cool! so destiny knew I was going to be here!.... She chose poorly.

Fang: Destiny didn't pick you, Midnight. You accidentally got caught up in the affair.

Sunshine closed her eyes for a moment, before throwing her staff up into the sky.

... And we're just going to leave it there. Deal with it.

If you guys haven't figured it out, I'm posting UV chapters on Tuesday and Thursday, and a picture posts on Saturday.

Bk2 Ch.8 Dark Sun Mountain -part1

Somewhere, near Everwinter village...

UnMythic soldiers were patrolling around the east part of Everwinter forest, searching for any Vampires hidden in it's frosty shadows. Out of the corner of their eyes, they saw something move.

UnMythic 1: Did you see that?

UnMythic 2: Only if you saw it.

They crept closer, guns ready to fire. Like lightning, the thing easily punched one of them backwards, and flung another into a tree.

???: NOW!!!

A smoke bomb went off and the two figures dashed away, leaving the soldiers in the dust.

Topaz: I hope you did that right this time, Kunzite. The last thing we need is UnMythics following us to our hideout! AGAIN.

Kunzite: Boo checked for me - he said it was great!

Topaz: I'll be the judge of that when we get back to safety. You did manage to get some food, didn't you?

Kunzite: Of course! My animal friends always give me something!

Topaz: How are we even related?...

The two kangaroos came across a tree with a rope ladder, and at the top was a small purple fox.

Hex (purple fox): Quick! Get up here!

They climbed up as the UnMythics got closer. They hid behind the branches as the soldiers sprinted past, unaware.

Kunzite: Yes! We made it!

Hex: Did you bring back sometime good?

Topaz dug into her bag and started giving things to Hex.

Topaz: Some small bronze gears for Boo, pens and pencils for you, and some unspoiled berries for lunch.

Hex jumped up and down with joy and dashed into the ruined tree house. The kangaroo cousins followed close behind.

Grandma: Ah, I see you have returned safely.

Hex: Boo! They scavenged parts from the village - they found six special bronze gears for your secret project that I'm not suppose to know about!

Topaz: Now that our mission is over, I'm going to catch up on the daily news.

Topaz turned to the newspaper on the floor and started reading. Kunzite slowly made her way to Grandma, a little worried.

Kunzite: Uh... Grandma? How do we know for sure if Ruby and Sapphire are ok?

Grandma: Have faith in them, young one. They're with Barak and Fang - they'll be fine.

Kunzite: I hope you're right, Great great great Auntie.

*****

Sapphire slid behind a huge boulder and started throwing rocks at the oncoming UnMythic soldiers.

Ruby: How did they find us? Does Leaf have a tracking device on her or something?

Leaf: I'll humor you. I think they knocked me unconscious when I was hired, just in case I went rogue.

Midnight made a jump towards Sapphire's rock, but missed. She quickly pulled him to safety as more guns fired.

Midnight: That's all the more reasons why you should hate your kind. Speaking of kinds, where is Barak when we need him?

Sapphire: Three... two...-

Barak suddenly swooped over the UnMythics and shot light beams in all directions.

Sapphire: Aw, almost had it...

Ruby: I think he can take them! We just have to cross this bridge!

Sapphire: Move it, prisoner!

Sapphire grabbed Midnight and Leaf and raced across the wood ladder bridge, much to Midnight's discomfort. Ruby followed behind shortly, and cut the ropes so the enemy couldn't follow.

Ruby: That should slow them down!

Sapphire: ... Hey, Ruby? What do you think our cousins are thinking about right now?

Ruby: Is this really a good time? And define "cousins", I mean... we have dozens of them. Mostly female last time I checked.

Sapphire: Topaz and Kunzite, actually.

Ruby: We can talk about this later. Right now, we need to get Midnight- Where's Sunshine?

Leaf (who was steadily running ahead of Sapphire) broke loose and ran off down the mountain.

Sapphire: GET BACK HERE YOU... uh... COPY CAT!!!

Ruby: Sunshine! Where are you?

Midnight: Forget about those kittens and help me get out of here!

Ruby hesitated for a moment before helping Midnight into a nearby cave. Sapphire watched Barak fight a little longer before beckoning to him to safety. The baby Dragon flew across the big gap, grabbed Echo (who was flying around aimlessly) and dived for cover in the new cave with Sapphire.

Sapphire: So Sunshine's mission (again), and Cabbage got away.

Thunder sounded close by, startling everyone.

Ruby: Midnight, do you have any fresh wounds?

Midnight: N-no...

Ruby: ... I don't believe you. Fang, medicine kit, please.

Fang (who was hiding in Ruby's bag) got a fresh role of bandages and threw them out of the bag. Sapphire cursed under her breath as Ruby started fixing Midnight up.

Nuzlocke Family

Hey, people! It's the Saturday night post, and I bring you something less friendly than your normal Pokemon game.

This is Lothair and Matilda's family from my Nuzlocke Platinum run. Matthew being the eldest, Luna the adopted, and young Nero.

Lothair (my starter) is one of the strongest Pokemon on my team. He's bold, and never gives up on a task at hand. He's also a great role model for his teenage son, Matthew.

Matilda is the only pure dark-time I have. She loves herself a bit too much, but feels ashamed for feeling so. Matilda and Lothair are still a bit awkward between each other, but she's a great mother.

Matthew was born weird (kinda obvious, since his father is a monkey and his mother a dog), and is having trouble fitting in with everyone. He loves playing tricks on his teammates though, and isn't afraid to crack a really bad joke at the weirdest of times.

Luna was given to me as an egg, so she hatched without any true parents. She was adopted by Lothair and Matilda as their only daughter. Luna is really gentle and kind to anyone she meets, but can be a little stubborn at times.

And Nero, tough little newborn to the family. He's very adventurous, never giving up until he's completed his childish missions. Bites every new thing he sees.

I reaaaaaaally hope none of these guys die... I've grown far to attached to them than I should've...

Bk2 Ch.7 Sapphire's plan -part3 and a bit

Sorry for the lack of posts guys. A bit of Writers block, I guess... and this is what I could come up with. Sorry if it's boring, but at least I'll post a picture on Saturday!
*****

Ruby: So you had a plan? What was it then?

Barak steadily dragged their prisoner along beside Midnight, who was having trouble keeping up with the others.

Sapphire: I thought I could destroy them on the inside out - blast out a few valuable things, and stuff like that.

Midnight: So it was a failure then?

Sapphire: I couldn't stay in there long enough - Barak ruined it a bit, and I had to get the REAL Sunshine out - as you've noticed.

???: No need to rub it in...

Ruby: Doesn't matter. We've wasted time a lot of time, and we have to speed it up!

Midnight tripped over a stone and crashed to the ground. The green cheetah laughed out loud at Midnight.

???: Wow, way to show grace to our kind, blacky!

Sapphire: Hey, no one else calls him that except me! Barak, please hit her for me, I can't reach from over here.

???: I'd like to see you try, traitor!

Sapphire: Well... we'll see who's laughing when we win this stupid war!

Ruby: Yeah, because if we don't there's a high chance of us getting kicked off permanently.

???: Really? That's not what they said when I signed up...

Midnight: Oh THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!! Ok, cabbage cat. From now on you'll be known as Leaf!

Leaf (green cheetah): ... What?

Sapphire: Yeah, with a name like that you're destined to be eaten by a bug.

Ruby: While I agree we should start giving her a name (since she refuses to tell us), we should be serious about the matter.

Leaf: That's far too close for my liking...

Midnight: Lighten up a little, Ruby.

Ruby: ... Let's just continue, we're almost to the Dalin Solin Moutain.

Leaf: Uh, English translation?

Barak: Dark Sun mountain. I think it's suppose to be impossible to find for everyone except Dragons, like me!

Leaf: Ah... thanks for clearing that up. I'm sure thousands of UnMythics would love to have known that.

*****

Sapphire: ... New plan! It involves getting Leaf thrown off a mountain into a lava pool! And then getting something to eat.

Leaf: You really are a barbarian!

Ruby: Seriously, Sapphire?

Sapphire: Maybe, but I'm really hungry. What time is it?

Leaf: Gimme back my device and I'll tell you.

Midnight: Nah, those things are often wrong. Besides, you'll just call for help.

Sapphire: So he thinks.

Ruby: No, as I said we're almost there. We just have to cross a bridge and head skywards.

Midnight & Sapphire: And then can we have lunch?

Sunshine said nothing, but patted Echo the strange bat.

Ruby: *sigh*... Yes, and then we can have a bit of a break.

Sapphire didn't argue any further. She merely hurried Midnight along, and Barak excitedly followed after them - dragging Leaf along with him.

Bk2 Ch.7 Sapphire's plan -part3

Sapphire dashed out of the cell they were kept in, passed a few guards on duty and burst into an important looking room.

Sapphire: Ok, step two is completed.

Barak (who had taken anyone out in his way) crashed into Sapphire. He quickly got up, and accidentally destroyed a nearby bookcase.

Sapphire: Wow, Barak. Can you make any more noise? I don't think the enemy can hear you!

Barak: I can, but-

Sapphire: Then please be discreet about it!

Sapphire explored the room, trying to find something of interest. Sunshine quietly came in, and pressed a button near the door. A nearby screen turned on.

Sapphire: Oh, well... I would've found that eventually.

Barak found a remote, and started  pushing buttons randomly.

Sapphire: Barak, I don't think it's a good idea to be playing with that!

Barak: Do you want me to destroy it then?

Sapphire: No! I want to know how it works - I need to send a message.

Sunshine: If you want to send a letter, my bat friend could deliver it. Well... If he gets back...

Sapphire: I don't have time - I need to send word to my mother before "they" do. If I go home at a time like this, I'll be stuck in my room forever!

More guards charged in, but Barak shot a light beam at them, and destroyed a few more rooms. Alarms started going off.

Sapphire: ... Ok, I admit we have more important things to do - like GETTING OUT OF HERE!!!

Barak shot out another light beam, creating a path to the outside world. Sapphire grabbed Sunshine's arm and dashed out into the rain.

*****

Some time later~

*****

Barak zoomed across the sky, searching for any signs of Ruby and Midnight, but all he could see was rocks and paths leading nowhere.

Barak: They sure hide well! I better report to Sapphire.

The Dragon turned around and flew down to the ground with a crash. He bounded off to where he thought Sapphire and Sunshine should be, but crashed into something red.

Ruby: Barak! Where were you? And where's Sapphire?

Barak quickly got up, and brushed off the dirt on his scales.

Barak: She's fine! Along with Sunshine and-

Midnight: Uh, what are you talking about? Sunshine's right here!

Barak looked behind Midnight, and saw Sunshine. He leaped at her, knocking her to the ground.

Midnight: Uh, are you that happy to see her?

Barak: This isn't Sunshine!

Ruby: Uh, what did you say?

Barak: She isn't the real Sunshine!

Sunshine: Yes I am! How can there be two of me?

Ruby: I don't understand, Barak!

Barak: Ok, I'll show you!

Barak grabbed hold of Sunshine and leaped into the air and down the mountain. Nearby, was pond, and he plunged in.

Midnight: Barak's gone nuts! And bonkers, too, apparently.

Ruby: What does he think he's doing?

Midnight: I dunno, but he said something about her "not being Sunshine".

Ruby: Well, if they don't come up soon, she might drown!

Barak burst from the water, but with a green coloured cheetah. Barak slammed her to the ground, and threw her back up the mountain towards Ruby and Midnight.

Ruby: Oh~...

The infiltrator sighed and slowly got up.

??? (green cheetah): So you finally found out... Pity. If I had stayed hidden just a bit longer, I would've taken blacky out.

Midnight: Good thing you didn't! Your "friends" shot bullets into my arm and legs, so that probably would've ruined my day even more!

Ruby: Tell us your name!

???: Or what?

Ruby: Barak might hyper beam your face. No one wants that to happen.

???: ... No. I'd rather die than spill anything to the likes of you freaks!

Midnight: Ok, hold it! No one will get unalived on my watch.

Ruby: Midnight, I agree with you, but we can't let her waltz back to her buddies.

???: Hey, it's not like I had a choice working for them. I was the "perfect" copy cat (pun intended), so I was forced to.

Barak: And that makes it ok?

Ruby: No, it doesn't.

Midnight: So wheres the real "Sunshine"?

???: She should be safely locked up in one of our hidden bases.

Barak: Uh, actually, she's with Sapphire. I was going to find them when I bumped into you guys!

???: ... Oh, cinnamon cupcakes...

She tried to take something out of her pocket, but Midnight snatched it first.

???: W-, How...

Midnight: It's what a thief does best - don't underestimate me just because I'm broken.

Midnight took a look at what he stole. It seemed to be a small electronic device, making some vibrations.

Midnight: ... Where's our UnMythic know it all when we need her?

Sapphire: Right here!

They looked behind them to see Sapphire, and the real Sunshine.

Sapphire: Now before you say anything, my plan sort of... kinda worked, but it failed as well. But right now, let's get out of here!

Ruby: Why-

Barak grabbed hold of the green cheetah and dragged her after Sapphire, not questioning anything.
