When Sapphire got back to LunaWing's edge, she immediately started to search for more of the pearls Hydra needed.
When she got what she needed, she tried to make a hasty retreat back to Barak (who was still blasting everything in sight), but some Simutes were blocking the way.
Simute 1: Thought you could sneak back in here and steal more of our treasure, did you?
Sapphire sighed and swam back a few paces.
Sapphire: Look, I don't want any trouble-...
Simute 2: So you say.
Sapphire: ...- But I really need these pearls.
Simute 2: Do you need them, or want them?
Sapphire: Need.
Simute 1: Why?
Sapphire: The fate of my friends lives depend on it! Now get out of my way, or else!
Simute 2: Or else what?
Sapphire slowly continued to back away until she looked up, and slyly grinned at the two simutes.
Sapphire: Or else an angry Dragon will be sure to ruin your day.
Simute 1: Angry Dragon...?
THUD~
Hydra: What in Frost's name is going on here?
The two simutes turned around to face Hydra, and Sapphire also noticed that Barak was hiding behind her.
Simute 2: Hydra! What are you doing here? I thought you never left your home without a good reason!
Hydra: I don't. But when I heard that there was a fight over in this part of the ocean, I considered it an emergency, so I left the comfort of my cave to see to this personally.
Simute 1: But we were handling the situation just fine!
Hydra: Maybe in a non-dragon's point of view, but the sight of my fellow magic-blooded creatures fighting like animals sickens me!
Sapphire: ... Not to be rude, but in a sense, we are animals.
Hydra: While reality is appreciated, I think you knew what I meant.
The simutes hung their heads in mock embarrassment, while Hydra took a good look behind at all the chaos going on. She turned her attention back to Sapphire and the other two strange creatures.
Hydra: Now, I'd like to know who started this in the first place.
Barak sighed and swam forward into Hydra's view.
Barak: I, uh.... may have started this fight...
Hydra was appalled, and Barak continued.
Barak: I blew up their cave... I didn't mean too, but...
The ancient Dragon sighed. She wondered what kind of upbringing Barak was getting, but she stayed on topic.
Hydra: I'm pleased with your honestly, but now you have to say sorry.
Barak gulped and turned towards the two simutes who looked kind of guilty themselves.
Barak: Um... Sorry for attacking you, and... destroying your cave... please don't hurt me...
The penguin shrugged and nudged his friend in good humor.
Simute 2: Think nothing of it.
Simute 1: Yeah! Now we have an excuse to remodel our home! I was so sick of always running into the stalagmites in the dark...
Barak nodded awkwardly, and tried to get nearer to Sapphire, but Hydra asked him another question.
Hydra: And why did you attack the simutes in the first place?
Barak remained silent for a minute before admitting the truth.
Barak: ... They startled me.
The two Dragons had an unusual silence before Hydra sighed and patiently patted Barak's head.
Hydra: That's understandable at your age. Everything around you is new, and sometimes scary... Plus, you're naturally curious, with a desire to understand.
Barak: So... It's ok?
Hydra: Yes. This time I think we can let it slide. But as the future king to all Dragons, you need to learn how to avoid possible fights, even if they are by accident. Do you understand?
Barak: I understand.
Hydra nodded in approval, making Barak smile with relief.
Hydra: Good. Now that this mess has been sorted out, I can get back to my cave and continue working on those charms. I'll take those, then...
One of the simutes gave Hydra a seaweed bag, and Sapphire dropped the pearls inside. Hydra carefully took off and started the trip back to her cave, leaving Sapphire and Barak with the simutes.
Sapphire: ... Well. I guess that probably could've gone better.
Barak: But it could've been worse?
Sapphire: Definitely. At least we eventually got the rest of the pearls for her. Now we just have to wait until she tells us what we need to do next...
Simute 1: If you don't mind me asking, why'd you need them in the first place?
Sapphire shrugged and gave an exhausted sigh.
Sapphire: Apparently we needed them to create some kind of sea charm to protect our friends for when we break them out of Oceania's palace... At least, that's the memo I got from Hydra.
Simute 2: Oh! So the queen has your friends in dept to her?
Sapphire: Not exactly.
Simute 1: In any case, we wish you luck on getting them out!
Sapphire: Thanks. And again, sorry for barging into your grounds, and stuff...
Simute 2: Nah. It was our fault for getting the younger Dragon spooked. We thought you were treasure hunters, trying to steal all our pearls!
Sapphire: In a way we kinda were, but I understand. Anyway, me and Barak will be on our way.
Barak: Wont we help put out the fires I caused?
Simute 2: Nah. We can take care of it.
Barak: Well, ok. And maybe we'll see you guys again?
Simute 1: Maybe. We'll see what destiny has to say about it!
Sapphire tapped Barak's shoulder, and they both started to swim up. Barak took one last look at the strange sea creatures and waved farewell to them. The simutes waved back.
Barak: Bye, odd creatures of the sea!
Simutes: So long, green Dragon of the skies!
*****
Sapphire and Barak were resting on a nearby beach, on an island a little way from Hydra's cave. They were relaxing as the sun started to set.
Sapphire: Well, that was an exciting day...
Barak: Yup. And also a little scary...
Sapphire: At least no one was truly injured in that epic flame battle.
Barak murmered in agreement, and they both lay in the sand in silence for a bit, enjoying the last rays of sun before nightfall.
Barak: ... Sapphire?
Sapphire: M'yeah?
Barak: Hydra said that I was going to be the future king to all Dragons... do you know what that means?
Sapphire: Yup. You're going to be a king!
Barak: I'm serious!
Sapphire: So am I!
Barak: I know what a king is, but...
Sapphire sat upright and placed a hand on Barak's shoulder.
Sapphire: You're only a kid, Barak. You can worry about future problems in the future, ok?
Barak: ...Ok.
Sapphire got up and started to head up the hill towards some trees.
Sapphire: Good. Meanwhile, we should make a campfire. Can you help me get some driftwood?
Barak: Sure!
Barak jumped to his feet and hopped over to Sapphire's side. He'd take Sapphire's advice and ignore what Hydra said for a bit.

Edward
... You have no idea how much work I put into the picture you're about to see. And personally, I'd like to keep it that way.
... So many hours...
The cosmic staff was the second most complicated thing I have ever drawn... The first being Edward's outfit. But both were fun!

B4 Ch7 Item Hunt -part3
Unfortunately for Barak, when they got back to the hidden lair, Hydra wasn't pleased with the number of pearls they returned with. The ancient Dragon shook her head slowly as she finished counting the gleaming blue balls Sapphire gave her.
Hydra: I'm afraid this is only half the amount of pearls I need. You'll have to go back and get some more!
Barak tensed up, and pleadingly looked into Hydra's big cloudy green eyes.
Barak: Are you sure?
Hydra: Yes. Just because I'm almost five hundred years old, doesn't mean I've forgotten how to count! Now, you can rest for a bit before heading out again, but I'd like to get them some time today if it isn't too much of a bother...
Barak was about to say something, but Sapphire grabbed his neck roughly and started to pull him along back up the hole to the brighter world.
Sapphire: What did I tell you, Barak? WE. NEEDED. MORE.
Barak desperately dug his claws into the wide tunnel, not letting loose as Sapphire tried to pull him loose.
Sapphire: Stop shivering in your timbers, Barak! We need to go back to LunaWing's edge!
Barak still clawed on for dear life, and Sapphire tried pulling on his tail. He still wouldn't budge.
Sapphire: What are you, Barak?
Barak: I'M A DRAGON AND I REFUSE TO GO NEAR THAT BAD PLACE FILLED WITH MONSTERS AN-AND...
Sapphire managed to free Barak's claws and tried pulling him again up the tunnel.
Barak: YOU CAN'T MAKE ME GO BACK!
Sapphire: Stop being a coward, Barak! We-
Sapphire reached the exit, but Barak had wedged his claws in the hard stone and refused to let go.
Barak: YOU CAN'T MAKE ME GO BACK!!!
Sapphire stopped trying to loosen Barak's grip, and realized that Barak was probably going to stay there until he was certain that they weren't going back to that sea cliff.
Sapphire: So you wont do it for yourself?
Barak: How is that suppose to change my mind?
Sapphire sighed and let go of Barak's tail, and backed off a bit, but the small Dragon still refused to let go.
Sapphire: Look, I'm sorry for getting you worked up, Barak.. But we need those pearls in order to save Ruby and the others! I'm pretty sure you can understand that.
Barak still didn't move. Sapphire tried again to convince him...
Sapphire: Do you want to leave everyone in the hands of that witch for a queen? Because that's the vibe I'm getting from you...
Barak looked up, and if there wasn't water everywhere to begin with, Sapphire thought Barak would've created a flood of tears. She softened a little when he tried answering her question.
Barak: I-I don't... It's just...
Sapphire swam further away, trying one last time to get him to come with her.
Sapphire: You have to grow up if we want to get our friends back. I'll go alone if I have to, but-
Barak shook his head vigorously, and unhooked his claws. He flew right up to Sapphire's side, and took hold of her hand.
Barak: No! If you're going into a dangerous place filled with monsters, then I have to be there to protect you!
Sapphire patted Barak's head gently and nodded in approval.
Sapphire: Then what are we waiting for? Let's get those cursed pearls from the imaginary monsters of death!
Barak: They aren't imaginary.
Sapphire: We'll wait and see.
Barak took off with Sapphire back to the oceans surface, and headed south for the second time that day...
*****
Barak: I'm starting to change my mind about this...
Barak was slowly trailing after Sapphire, and getting slower by the minute.
Sapphire: That's just your inner coward talking. Don't take any notice of it! Besides, I think you went too far west when we were flying... I believe we're lost.
Barak kept looking anxiously behind him, until he stopped altogether. Sapphire groaned impatiently and spun around to face him.
Sapphire: There's nothing dangerous, Barak! The only thing we have to fear is rabid sharks and killer whales!
Barak: Killer whales?
Sapphire: Yeah. I saw a wanted posted for five big whales, but I'd like to think they'd have a hard time sneaking up on us... Anyway. The point is, there are no fantasy monsters that have a thirst for Dragon blood! It's all-
Sapphire stopped. She felt a sharp object behind her back, and Barak looked liked he saw a ghost. A voice that sounded like granite on rusty metal gave a command to her.
???: Turn around, Rechen. And don't get any funny ideas, you're surrounded!
Sapphire: If I may be so bold, by who?
In an instant, dozens of horrific creatures started to appear out of what seemed like no where.
???: By those guys. Now do what you're told!
Sapphire decided it was best to listen to the annonymous voice for now, so she spun around slowly and faced a penguin with a jagged jaw, with ruffled dirty feathers and eyes with a dull glow. Barak whispered behind her, almost excitedly.
Barak: See! I told you there was something to worry about!
Sapphire: Something is right! What on earth are they? Some kinda' fish demons?
One of the strange alien-like animals lunged forward at Sapphire, bearing sharp jagged teeth, and what smelled like rotten fish breath.
??? (dolphin thing): Don't you know what we are, Rechen?
Sapphire: If we knew that, I'd throw more insults at you.
The creature holding the sharpened object gave a slight cackle. He seemed to think she was joking.
Simute 2 (penguin thing): We're Simutes, moron! Can't you tell just by looking at our ugly mugs?
Sapphire: Si-whats?
The penguin monster snapped his beak at Sapphire's face and the other one called back to the others.
Simute 1 (dolphin thing): Hear that, fellers? She doesn't know what we are! Seatopia must be getting better at keeping secrets safe and sound!
Barak: It's not just her, I don't get it either!
The penguin creature leaned forward to get a better look at Barak, who tried to hide behind Sapphire.
Simute 2: Ah, yes... weren't you the one who blew up our cave earlier this afternoon, or is it just me?
Barak's blood turned to ice at those words, and tried to explain, but the Simute held a flipper up for silence.
Simute 2: No need to deny or confess. It was a rhetorical question. We already know it was you who did it, not to mention stole our pearls, so let's not beat around the coral.
Sapphire tried to make reason out of this, but it ended up more like an excuse.
Sapphire: It was for a good reason. But we left a little earlier then intended, and we need some more of your 'treasure', if you don't mind...-
Simute 1: Actually, we do mind.
Sapphire scowled at them and folded her arms in annoyance.
Sapphire: Greedy. You have more pearls then you know what to do with!
Simute 2: Maybe so, but we had a sign there that says "NO ENTRY. INTRUDERS WILL BE SERVED JUSTICE"! Didn't you read it before you trespassed into our grounds?
Sapphire: Well, I tried, but I couldn't understand a world of it.
The Simutes started to mutter angrily, until the mutated dolphin made a suggestion.
Simute 1: Why don't we just bring them back to our cave, and maybe give them a little b-
Barak couldn't take it any longer. He grabbed Sapphire's arm and raced upwards to the surface as fast as he could (which was actually quite fast, considering who he was), leaving the Simutes in a cloud of sand.
Sapphire: Barak! You could have at least let the guy finished his sentence! Maybe he was going to ask us to dinner or something?
But Barak wasn't in the mood for a lecture about manners. He burst through the ocean waves and high into the sky. He silently hoped that Simutes couldn't fly.
Sapphire: Great job. So, what are you going to do now, genius?
Barak: Fly back to Hydra and apologize for not being able to get the pearls she needed?
Sapphire: Not an option! Get back down there and fight like a crazed Dragon!
Barak: Ok... But with what?
Sapphire: Didn't you just recently learn how to create fire that can't burn out in water?
Barak: Yes, but wont it hurt them?
Sapphire: I'm sure it wont. Now get down there and fire at will!
Barak let go of Sapphire, and they both dived back into the sea. Sapphire tried to follow Barak as he raced back down to the sea floor, but he was out of reach in a matter of seconds.
When she eventually caught up with him, everything was a blue inferno of Dragon fire, for Barak's aim was really bad, and also the Simutes kept disappearing behind coral and in the sand. Sapphire yelled at Barak to stop.
Sapphire: Barak! Aim better! You'll burn the whole ocean down at this rate!
Barak ceased attacking for a minute to desperately look Sapphire in the eyes.
Barak: How? They keep moving!
Sapphire: Well, I would too if I knew a Dragon was trying to hit me with a ball of blazing fire! Try to aim at where they're going to be, instead of where they are!
Barak concentrated and blasted a fireball at one of the Simutes. It crashed into the seabed and was clouded in a misty smoke. Sapphire applauded.
Sapphire: That's more like it! Keep it up, buddy!
Barak: ... Is he in pain?
Sapphire: I'm sure he's fine. Keep firing like no tomorrow!
Barak: But will there be a tomorrow?
Sapphire: Not for us if you stop!
Barak kept attacking the Simutes, while Sapphire decided she would take this opportunity to find LunaWing's edge and get some pearls while the inhabitants were busy. She spotted the sea cliff and made a line straight for it.
Hydra: I'm afraid this is only half the amount of pearls I need. You'll have to go back and get some more!

B4 Ch7 Item Hunt -part2
When Sapphire and Barak eventually left Hydra's cave, they immediately started to search for LunaWing's edge to retrieve the pearls the ancient Dragon needed.
Sapphire: I think it'd be faster if we head to the surface to start the hunt. You can fly faster then you can swim!
Barak: Ok!
Barak made straight upwards, and into the blurry sunlight.
*****
It took a while to find the destination they were after, but eventually they came across a sea cliff, and Barak made a dive for it.
When they reached the ocean floor, Barak darted towards an archway covered in coral. Sapphire was about to go in, but she noticed a flat rock surrounded by more coral. When she took a closer look at it, she noticed it was had a message carved into it. She couldn't understand it, though.
Sapphire: This looks to be a sign of some sort. Almost a warning... Pity we can't read it.
Barak: So... We continue?
Sapphire: Yup. This isn't stopping us from completing our quest!
Sapphire swam on through the opening in the coral, and Barak followed her closely. They glided through the colourful passageway, until they reached a clearing with clams and pearls scattered everywhere. Sapphire rubbed her hands expectantly.
Sapphire: This has to be the place. Now all we have to do is find a few dozen blue pearls, I guess...
Sapphire started searching for the pearls, while Barak start exploring a bit.
Sapphire: Barak, you'd better come and help me at one point. Don't waste all your time sniffing out starfish!
Barak: Don't worry, I won't!
Sapphire carried on digging into the sand, occasionally finding blue pearls to put into her pocket.
Sapphire: ... He'd better not take forever.
Ten minutes passed, and Sapphire found a few more blue pearls. She wondered why they were so special, and mentally noted to ask Hydra about it when they got back.
... And then she heard Barak's cry and a loud BOOM. She looked up and saw a cloud of sand rise and fall, and spotted Barak charge down at her at top speeds.
Barak: SAPPHIRE!
He was obviously spooked by something. When Barak reached her, she tried to get him to calm down.
Sapphire: That's my name. What is it, Barak? You remember how to breath, right?
Barak was waving his arms around wildly, and kept pointing back in the direction he came from.
Barak: Scary fish monster things everywhere!
Sapphire blankly looked at him, still having no idea what was up.
Sapphire: ... Can I have a translation?
Barak tried to describe what it was, but words failed him. So Sapphire gave up and calmly continued picking up pearls, but Barak again tried to make his point.
Barak: We have to get out of here! NOW!
Sapphire: You still haven't told me what the problem is.
Barak: WE'RE IN DANGER!
Sapphire: Ok ok. But we'll only go when we have a few more of these pearls.
Barak wildly looked around before backing off and firing a ball of plasma at the sand where Sapphire was. Sand and pearls alike flew in all directions, and Barak quickly started to grab all the pearls he could get his paws on.
Sapphire: Barak, what on earth are you doing?
Barak: Is this enough pearls?
Sapphire: I don't know. I see more whites and pinks then-
Barak: WE'RE GOING!!
Barak dumped his handful of pearls and grabbed Sapphire's shirt and dashed back to where they had come from. He zoomed out of the coral entrance and up into the sunlight and fresh air. He seemed to be hyperventilating, which made Sapphire worry a bit.
Sapphire: Barak, snap out of it! What's got you so scared? There was no danger there!
Barak: Yes, there was! Scary red eyed fish monsters!
Sapphire: ... Dolphins?
Barak: N-no, they... it wasn't anything I've ever seen!
Sapphire: Well, that's not hard. You're only a few months old!
Barak: But they had sharp pointed teeth and claws, a-and...-
Sapphire: Sure they did. And I suppose they told you to make a fool of yourself?
Barak: They actually told me to get out of here as fast as I could.
Sapphire: I think you made a world record... Listen, Barak. Have you by any chance forgotten that you are a Dragon? Y'know? Big scary strong and smart creature that has the potential to rule the earth with only a single blast of fire?
Barak: No, I didn't forget, but-
Sapphire: Then you had nothing to fear! You just freaked out over nothing.
Barak: I did not! I'm telling you, there was something there!
Sapphire: Mhmm. I bet there was. But you do realize we have to go back down there, right?
Barak: We do? But didn't I give you enough pearls?
Sapphire: I dropped most of them on the way up here, Einstein. We'll have to find them again, or get some more!
Barak: But you still have some, right?
Sapphire: Yeah. Like, ten or so...
Barak: Isn't that good enough? Hydra didn't specifically say how much she needed, right?
Sapphire: No, but it's better to have too much then not enough.
Barak flew even high above the sea, until he almost reached the clouds.
Barak: I'm not going back down there!
Sapphire: Not even for me?
Barak: ... No. Not for anyone!
Sapphire rolled and eyes and gave an annoyed looked at Barak.
Sapphire: Fine. We'll head back to base.
Barak gave a sigh of relief, but Sapphire held up a hand to stop him from thanking her.
Sapphire: But I'm blaming you if Hydra orders us to get some more.
Barak: Uh... Ok, I can deal with that.
Sapphire: Good. Now can you get a little closer to the water? I'm afraid you'll drop me any second now...
Barak slowly made his decent downwards and started flying north, back to Seatopia.
Sapphire: I think it'd be faster if we head to the surface to start the hunt. You can fly faster then you can swim!
Barak: Ok!
Barak made straight upwards, and into the blurry sunlight.

Milky Q. DeathDancer
Good evening.
You already know why you're here, so let us get down to business.
This is another cousin idea I've been working on for a few days! I'm hoping I can introduce her in the next 'big adventure' sometime in the next few months, but we'll see if I can do that or not.
... I have plans for when Ruby and co. get back to ShadowWhisper island, but you'll see what it is when we get there. It's going to be quite cool!
Anyway, for now I'm nicknaming her Milky Q(uartz). DeathDancer.

B4 Ch7 Item Hunt -part1
When Sapphire and Silver got to Hydra's den entrance, they found Barak relaxing on a ledge above them. He waved before getting up to swim towards them.
Barak: Hi, Sapphire and Silver! You're back!
Sapphire: Why Barak! How did you know we had returned?
Barak: I saw you swim down... Just now, in fact.
Sapphire: I know. I was being what some people call, sarcastic. I'm aware you have eyes.
Barak: Did you have a fun trip?
Sapphire: Actually, we did-
Silver: Didn't. We didn't have fun. Or more like I didn't, to be more accurate.
Sapphire: Oh come on! You enjoyed it!
Silver: I did not! We were practically in danger all of the time! Not a moment's peace, always rushing about...
Sapphire: You got a problem with that?
Silver: Yes! I like to feel safe! No excitement, no risk, and most importantly, NO danger!
Sapphire: You're no fun, then!
Silver: Oh, how can I ever live with that? Not being 'fun'... Well, we all have our definitions of fun, and I'm not sorry to say that danger isn't mine!
Sapphire: Then you won't get anywhere worthwhile.
Silver: So? It's not like anyone would care if I battled a raging monster shark! What? Is 'Danger' your middle name or something?
Sapphire: Sadly, no. My middle name is actually Dara, but that's besides the point.
Silver: Do you do anything with caution, or are you just-
Sapphire: Look, as much as I'd love to continue this conversation, I'm going to report to Hydra about what we know. So if you don't mind...
Sapphire dived into the dark tunnel to Hydra's lair, leaving Barak and Silver floating there. Barak dived in after her, and a frustrated Silver decided to follow them.
*****
When Sapphire swam into the glow of the crystal packed cave, she saw Fang aimlessly floating in the waters. He vaguely looked up when he saw Sapphire gliding towards him.
Sapphire: Hey, Fang.
Fang: Hello, Sapphire.
Sapphire: Where's Hydra?
Hydra: I'm right here.
The old Dragon came out of the treasure room when she heard Sapphire's voice.
Hydra: Good evening! You're back from your little excursion?
Sapphire: Yup.
Fang: Did you do anything interesting? Or perhaps find something edible?
Sapphire took a deep breath and started to explain what she and Silver had done.
Sapphire: Well, we found the ship that we were traveling on, and discovered it needed some repairs.
Fang: Anything we can't fix?
Sapphire: Not that I could see! But then we-... Or, more like I, decided that we should break into S.A.L.T HQ for a little fun, and may or may not have stolen some treasure while we were at it...
Fang: Cool. Anything else?
Sapphire: And then we tracked down Midnight and then gave said treasure for him to look after.
Fang: Oh! Speaking of which, how is Midnight, anyway?
Sapphire: In all honesty, I think he's going slightly insane with the lack of communication from other Mythics.
Fang: Maybe he's just bored out of his mind?
Sapphire: I guess. He has been there for less then a day...
Just then, Barak and Silver caught up with Sapphire. Barak paddled over to Fang, who latched onto one of his ears.
Barak: Why hasn't he gotten out yet?
Sapphire: Even if he could, he'd be stupid to do it. If he leaves, the spell keeping him alive would break, and we're too far down to swim up in time!
Hydra: ... Is that all keeping him and your other friends?
Sapphire: I guess so.
Hydra chuckled slightly, and started to sketch a plan on the stone walls.
Hydra: Only a spell? No problem. I can take care of that. But I'll need a few items...
Sapphire: And let me guess... You want us to go and get the materials for you?
Hydra: If it's not too much trouble.
Sapphire sighed and gave Hydra a mocking salute.
Sapphire: Your wish is our adventure... What do you need, oh great Dragon of the seas?
Hydra finished scraping the plan, and then explained the list of items she needed help getting.
Hydra: I'll need a couple dozen of blue Verlupe pearls, some Aquamun coral, and white crystals... I can get the rest myself, but I'd like you to take a job each to make things quicker.
Silver: Which is the easiest?
Hydra: The White crystals are the easiest to get, because it can be found right in my cave.
Sapphire: And the hardest?
Hydra: The blue Verlupe pearls. They can only be found in a remote area at the far end of LunaWing's edge.
Silver: Isn't there also suppose to be monsters lurking around that area as well?
Hydra: That's just a tale to scare anyone trying to find treasure, Silver. Don't take it seriously!
Sapphire: Either way, it sounds fun! I can do that no problem!
Silver: Ok, then... I'll get the coral. I know where to find some, plus It's not a suicide mission!
Sapphire: What's that suppose to mean?
Silver: It means it's safe.
Sapphire: Wimpy slug.
Silver: Reckless fool.
Hydra hit both of them over the head with her tail. She shook her head but tried to continue as if nothing happened.
Hydra: Barak and Fang can stay here and look for crystals while I go and get the other items. Now, do any of you have some questions before I leave?
Sapphire raised her hand and cleared her throat.
Sapphire: Yes, I have one. Where am I suppose to find this 'LunaWing's edge', anyway?
Hydra: I'd say a few hundred miles south from Seatopia...
Sapphire: A few hundred m-... Are you serious? I can't swim that far in a day, let alone back with what you want!
Fang tapped Barak's head and pointed at Sapphire. The green Dragon hesitated for a moment before saying...
Barak: I can go with you, Sapphire!
Sapphire: I appreciate the thought, but are you sure? Wouldn't you like it so much better if you stayed here with Fang to look for shiny gems?
Barak: No, and besides! You need my help!
Sapphire shrugged grinned at the green Dragon.
Sapphire: I guess I can't argue there. But can I rest for a bit first? I only just got back!
Barak: Sure!
Sapphire slumped down onto the stony ground, with her hands behind her head. Hydra left the cave with Silver, while Barak and Fang went into the treasure room.
Barak: Hi, Sapphire and Silver! You're back!
Sapphire: Why Barak! How did you know we had returned?

B4 Ch6 Salty Amusement - part3
After Sapphire and Silver got to the Sea Palace grounds, they had to navigate past the guards, and traverse a forest of seaweed, before eventually arriving at a bunch of tall towers.
Sapphire: Good. So one of these buildings has to contain Midnight, right?
Silver: Yes. Each tower only contains one prisoner... I guess the guards fear that they'll just team up if there's more than one in a room.
Sapphire: And by the looks of it, there's only one tower with guards. We'll start there!
Sapphire pointed to a nearby tower with Sea Creatures guarding the entrance.
Sapphire: Let's go, then!
Just as she was about to start in that direction, Silver grabbed her arm.
Silver: Are you sure you're completely sane? This is a terribly stupid risky thing to do, you know!
Sapphire: Actually, I don't know if I am. But I'm probably less mad than Midnight. Now help me with this bucket full of treasure!
Sapphire and Silver started towards the tower in a stealthy fashion. When they got behind the building, they started to swim up until they reached a large barred window. Sapphire noticed a dark figure at the far side of the room, who didn't seem to care that they were there.
???: ... Wow. I'm so bored I'm starting to hallucinate that Sapphire is right outside my window...
Sapphire: That's because I am, you moronic luckless good-for-nothing black cat.
The prisoner turned his head slightly in Sapphire's direction, and when he realized she was really... well, real, he rushed towards them as they opened a window and floated in.
Midnight: SAPPHIRE!
Sapphire: And hello to you too, Midnight. But can you keep it down? Your babysitters have ears, y'know. And what are you doing here?
Midnight: Apparently I escaped so many times they became fed up and decided to lock me up in here. Great view, but the nothingness is driving me crazy!
Sapphire peeked through the window, and all that she could see was some kind of sponge bed, a weird looking painting and a chain that seemed to have been broken (probably by Midnight). She faced him, a little curious.
Sapphire: And why haven't you escaped yet? You can easily do that from this place by the looks of it.
Midnight: True, but that would also include drowning.
Sapphire: How come?
Midnight: They told me if I move any further away from here, the spell would break and I'd be breathing water. I decided not to chance that.
Silver: You technically are already breathing water, but I see what you mean...
Midnight: And you have no idea how bored I am in here! My hands are itching for some action!
Sapphire sighed and dumped the loot they got into the tower room. Midnight swam back as the pile of treasure tumbled down into one gleaming pile of gold.
Sapphire: Does this cheer you up a bit?
Midnight picked up a gold coin and bit into it. Satisfied, he stuffed it into one of his pockets and gave Sapphire a suspicious look.
Midnight: Where did you get this? And aren't I suppose to be the one who likes to steal shiny stuff?
Sapphire: We visited-
Silver: Broke into.
Sapphire: - the S.A.L.T headquarters-
Midnight: Who's?
Silver: Serene Animals of Lagoon Treasure.
Midnight: Heh. Stupid name.
Silver: No, Lagoon Treasure was the one who created the organization. Serene stands for calm waters-
Midnight: I stand corrected.
Sapphire: Can I finish my sentence?
Midnight: I don't see why not.
Sapphire: Then can you stop interrupting me?
Sapphire took a deep breath and started to say something...
Sapphire: We got this treasure from some-
Midnight: Wow! There's even gold nuggets in here! Quite small, admittedly, but I could probably sell these for a fairly high price... You have no idea how many Vampires are obsessed with this stuff.
Sapphire gave up and started to drum her fingers on the cold stone-like crystal tower.
Midnight: By the way, why did you come here in the first place?
Sapphire: I wanted to say hi.
The was an odd silence as Midnight blankly stared at Sapphire.
Midnight: ... Really? That was it? You risked your safety just to say hi to me?
Sapphire: Yeah!
Midnight: ... Ok, then.
Sapphire: Oh! And there was another thing... Please take care of all that gold for us, will you?
Midnight looked behind him, and started to laugh.
Midnight: Where?! This room is more barer then the place we were originally locked up in! It's unbearably empty! The guards will find it easily!
Sapphire made a face nodded in understanding.
Sapphire: Yeah, I can see that there are no bears in there. But why don't you hide it under the bed, then? That's what guys usually do, right?
Midnight: It's two inches off the floor. How am I suppose to fit that under there?
Sapphire: Not my problem. See you later!
Midnight: Wait, don't go!
Sapphire: I'm not! I'm temporarily leaving so we can make a fool-proof plan to get you all back!
Midnight: Really?
Sapphire: ... Probably. If it fails we'll just get Barak to blast everything in sight until it stops being a problem.
Midnight: And if that fails?
Sapphire: We'll just get Hydra, an even bigger Dragon to blast everything in sight until it stops being a problem. Either way, we're off.
Sapphire made a dive for the sea floor, not waiting for a goodbye from Midnight.
Midnight: ... Welcome back, boredom. I didn't miss you.
Sapphire: Good. So one of these buildings has to contain Midnight, right?

B4 Ch6 Salty Amusement - part2
Sapphire and Silver got through the S.A.L.T front entrance with ease, and started swimming around the empty halls for something of interest.
Silver: Why did you think that sneaking into enemy grounds would be a good idea?
Sapphire: I never said this was a good idea. This is for fun.
Silver: Fun? Where on earth do you come from to call this fun?
Sapphire: On a little island in the middle of no-where. But that's beside the point... Our mission is to find something of interest!
Silver: We're going to die, aren't we?
Sapphire: Stop whining and hurry up, will you?
Sapphire glided over to a huge door, and then realized what she was doing.
Sapphire: Oh boy... I've turned into Midnight...
Silver: Uh... Is that bad?
Sapphire: Maybe not, but Ruby certainly wouldn't approve of me doing this. Oh well! She doesn't have to know.
Sapphire tried to kick the doors open, but without much success.
Sapphire: Ah. I'm still in water... I'll just do it the old fashioned way.
Sapphire pushed open the doors and entered a largish area with tons of treasure everywhere. Sapphire rubbed her hands in glee as she surveyed the room.
Sapphire: This is one swish room they got!
Silver looked around nervously, expecting a bunch of S.A.L.T members to jump out at any moment.
Silver: Ok! We found their treasure chamber! Can we go now?
Sapphire: Are you kidding? We're stealing this!
Silver: All of it?
Sapphire: Nah. Just some of it.. It's not like we can carry all this treasure out! Besides, we only need a bucket full or so.
Sapphire picked up a nearby diamond and stuffed it into her pocket. She then found a golden bucket and started to fill it to the top with gold and jewels.
Silver: It's bad enough that we're in here, but do we have to take their money too?
Sapphire: No, but they do deserve it in a way.
Sapphire shoved the now full bucket at Silver, who almost dropped it. He moaned silently and shook his head in despair.
Silver: We're going to die for sure...
Sapphire: I don't know why you're so scared of S.A.L.T, Silver. What did you do to them?
Silver: Nothing! We just... don't exactly get along.
Sapphire: Yeah, I wonder why... Anyway, let's continue exploring!
Sapphire swam through the doors with Silver lagging behind a bit. Sapphire wandered through the halls, opening and closing doors as she went, seeing if there was anything else interesting.
Silver: Do I have to carry this thing? It's heavy!
Sapphire: Unless you want me to drop it on your head, yes.
Silver: But swimming takes twice the effort with this extra weight!
Sapphire: Then walk! This is smooth ground, you can manage.
Just then, a Sea Creature swam out of nearby room, and seemed shocked when he saw Silver carrying some gold from the Treasure Chamber.
Sapphire didn't waste any time and charged at the S.A.L.T member, pushing him back into the room out of which he had just come. She hastily shut the door, and barred it with a nearby weapon. She moved back cautiously, waiting for the doors to burst open.
Sapphire: He won't stay in there for long. C'mon, we should hurry before he gets more of his buddies!
Silver: That's what I've been-
Sapphire: No time for chatter!
Sapphire took the treasure from Silver and made a bolt for the exit. The pale otter followed her out and they went straight to the nearest shipwreck to hide. Alarms started to sound as they hid inside the skeleton of the rotting boat. Sapphire seemed pleased, and practically hooted for joy as she dug her hand into the bucket of treasure.
Sapphire: That was fun! Should we go in for a second round?
Silver was horrified at such a suggestion, and shook his head in fear.
Silver: No!
Sapphire: Yeah, I guess you're right. We should deposit this first before we do it again...
Silver tried to stay calm, but he was obviously very angry at her.
Silver: And what was the point of that? We could've gotten caught!
Sapphire: But we didn't.
Silver: Not the point! And what are you going to do with all that money now?
Sapphire: Hide it?
Silver: Where?! It's not like we can give it to the nearest meeron and ask them to keep it safe!
Sapphire: ... Maybe not a Sea creature, but a Vampire!
Silver: What are you saying? The only Vampires down under the sea are in the queen's palace!
Sapphire: Exactly! We'll just ask one of my friends to keep an eye on it for us! Plus, It would give me a chance to see if they are all right. Maybe Midnight, because I'm sure he'd be more than happy to keep this safe...
Silver: And who's he? A master of stealth and hiding?
Sapphire: Maybe not, but he is a thief. He's black cheetah, who has a thing with dark hoodies and shiny gems... He also gets into trouble a lot.
Silver: Strange... I remember someone of that description being locked in one of the solitary towers of the palace a little while ago...
Sapphire sighed and picked up the treasure. She exited the ship and started in the direction back to Oceania's palace.
Sapphire: That's probably the same guy I'm talking about... Ok. Let's go to this 'solitary tower', then...
Silver laughed nervously, trying to decide whether Sapphire meant it.
Silver: Are you serious? Unlike this place, the palace actually has security!
Sapphire: Relax. If we're real careful, we won't attract any unwanted attention! Besides, the queen won't throw me into the dungeons.
Silver: And if we do? Then what?
Sapphire: If we do, you can sacrifice yourself for the good of the team while I try to deliver the goods. Simple!
Silver: Wait, WHAT?!
Sapphire: HA! Only kidding, Silver. We'll just make a break for it and hope for the best! That usually works.
Sapphire continued walking on the sandy floor of the ocean, but stopped when she realized he wasn't following.
Sapphire: Aren't you coming, Silver?
Silver: No! If you think I'm crazy enough to follow you into more danger, you have another thing coming!
Sapphire sighed and tried to shrug off her disappointment.
Sapphire: Fine... I guess I'll have to go alone... In that case, have fun with your boring life, Silver. Send me a post card when you decide to get adventurous.
She trudged on, leaving Silver alone in the sunken ship with his thoughts. But before he knew what he was doing, he swam out to join her.

B4 Ch6 Salty Amusement- part1
Sapphire and Silver were swimming through the crystal clear waters of the ocean, looking for something interesting to do.
Sapphire: I suppose you guys don't have any amusement parks we could visit?
Silver: It's bad enough I have to follow you, but do you really have to talk nonsense as well?
Sapphire: No one said you had to come with me. I just figured two heads were better then one, right?
Silver: Wh-? No! I mean, yes-... Sometimes! But I like to do things alone. And that includes not having you with me!
Sapphire: Heh. You say that, but you're still here.
Silver: Clam up.
They swam in silence for a few minutes, until Silver asked the question...
Silver: So how did you manage to get Hydra's permission to stay in her cave?
Sapphire: We had to explain that we were only trying to get our friends back from Oceania. We only needed a little help and then we'd all be on our way.
Silver: Let's hope so...
Sapphire: And besides. Hydra was intrigued by Barak.
Silver: Of course she was...
Sapphire sighed and decided it was best to ignore him for a bit. She started to think of the possible things she could do for fun, when Silver stopped. She turned around to see what was up, and noticed he seemed conflicted.
Silver: ... How do I know I can trust you?
Sapphire: Wasn't Hydra's opinion of me good enough?
Silver: I've learned the hard way to only trust one Mythic - myself.
Sapphire: Even if she is an all-seeing all-knowing Dragon of great power?
Silver didn't answer, and Sapphire sighed and tried making more conversation.
Sapphire: How did a nice snowy otter like you end up meeting a wise and powerful Dragon like Hydra?
Silver: It's a long story...
Sapphire: Well, that's a surprise.
Silver started to follow Sapphire again and they continued in silence for a while.
Silver: ... Aren't you going to say "Go on"?
Sapphire shrugged, with slight amusement.
Sapphire: Why bother? You don't feel like telling me, so why press?
Sapphire suddenly stopped, and remembered something that was probably important.
Sapphire: Wait a minute... Hey, Silver? Where does S.A.L.T. keep all the captured Mythic ships they raid?
Silver: Usually next to their Headquarters.
Sapphire: Is it guarded?
Silver: Hardly ever. Why do you ask?
Sapphire: ... Do you know the way?
Silver: Yes, but-...
Sapphire grabbed Silver's arm and pulled him along with her.
Sapphire: Direct me!
Silver: To where?!
Sapphire: Where else? S.A.L.T HQ!
*****
Sapphire: ... I was expecting this place to be bigger.
Sapphire was overlooking a large area filled with rotting boats everywhere. Nearby was a small mountain with a large entrance into the S.A.L.T base, but they had other things on their minds.
Silver: ... Ok, so can you tell me why we're here now?
Sapphire: We were on a ship when S.A.L.T attacked us, and we kinda need it back if we all want to go home... I'm just going to assume it's here.
Sapphire swam through the dozens of shipwrecked ships, searching for the one that was theirs.
Sapphire: Don't they do anything with this junkyard?
Silver: Not really... They're only interested in the stuff inside the ships, not the ship itself.
Sapphire: I guess that's one less thing to worry about...
Sapphire kept looking until she came across one that was chained to the ground. She read the name on the side, and thought it was the one they were looking for. Silver caught up with her and took a quick look at the boat.
Silver: Wow. Is this the one you were looking for? Looks good!
Sapphire: Yeah. Despite the mast being chopped in half, and the three big holes in the bottom of the ship, and all the chains keeping it in place, I suppose it could have been worse...
Sapphire swam inside for a better look. Barrels and crates were floating about the place, and a couple of trinkets were covered in rubbish. Sapphire patted the roof of the boat and nodded thoughtfully.
Sapphire: The chains are going to be a problem, but I think we can fix this... It's in good enough shape, anyway.
Silver: And how are you going to 'fix' it?
Sapphire: I don't know yet. We'll work that out when we get to it!
Silver shook his head and picked up what appeared to be soggy map.
Sapphire: That must've been Ruby's guide back home! She's not going to be pleased to find it in that condition...
Silver: Don't you use the stars? I hear Vampires used them to navigate in the olden days.
Sapphire: Yeah, but only when it wasn't cloudy. Stars are pretty useless when you can't see them...
Silver dropped the piece of paper and was about to pick up something else, when they both heard yells from outside the ship. The otter immediately hid in a nearby corner, while Sapphire dashed out to see what the commotion was about.
Sapphire spotted a bunch of Sea Creatures racing towards an approaching soldier, who seemed to have a wooden chest for them. She swam closer, hoping to catch what they were saying.
It was then that Silver decided to be a little braver and joined her in spying...
Silver: They seem to be excited about something...
Sapphire: About what?
Silver: Maybe a gift from the queen? They seem to get a lot of them these days...
Sapphire: I guess now is a good time as any...
Silver: Yeah. Let's get out of here!
Silver started swimming backwards, but stopped when Sapphire didn't do the same. He got slightly nervous when she started to laugh.
Sapphire: Get out? No no no... We're going in!
Silver tried to back away, but Sapphire grabbed hold of him and dashed forward to the front gates of the S.A.L.T HQ.
Sapphire: I suppose you guys don't have any amusement parks we could visit?
Silver: It's bad enough I have to follow you, but do you really have to talk nonsense as well?
